Green Barbet Adventures is an autonomous Kenyan Safari tour operator. It is the culmination of a dream visualized, nurtured and realized by its founder/director William Murigu, an avid nature enthusiast even from a young age. It is from the majestic environs of Mt. Kenya, that this fledgling dream to further explore and share these and other marvels of nature with like-minded sightseers, was borne.

Aberdare National Park:
Aberdare National Park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bush bucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands.
Samburu National Reserve:
Rests in the Laikipia Plains alongside the Ewaso Ngiro River. It is a contrast in landscapes with plateaus, low valley forests and rock gorges. These habitats plays host to a superb variety of endemic wildlife notably the Samburu special 5 species; the grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelope, beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe and Somali ostrich. A number of wildlife sanctuaries and conservancies are within driving range.
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Undoubtedly Kenya’s most visited destination. This 1800km2 expansive ecosystem is a rich blend of big 5 game, herbivores, reptiles, birds and is home to the Maasai tribesmen. Its highlight is the annual wildebeest migration between June and October that see millions of herbivores traverse the savanna plains crossing over the Mara River in search of pasture.

Aberdare National Park Safari

Chogoria – Naro Moru Route Safari
The Safari starts from Chogoria Town up to the third highest Peak. The 32 km (20 miles) from the forest gate to the park gate are often done by vehicle, but it is also possible to walk. There is much wildlife in the forest, with safari ant columns crossing the track, monkeys in the trees, and the potential for seeing elephant, buffalo and leopard.
